Why join MSWG?
Wikipedia: "A guild is an association of artisans and merchants who oversee the practice of their craft/trade in a particular area."
The Mountain Spinners and Weavers Guild is that and more. We have common interests and gather together to network, support, share, teach, and learn.
Some additional benefits to joining our guild are:
° Access to the Guild library
° 10% discount at Fiber Creek (our local fiber shop)
° Workshops
° Monthly programs, many of which are presented by well-known fiber artists who teach, write, and lead workshops
° Small Special Interest Groups (SIGs)
° Sales events to sell your creations
How to join MSWG:
Geographic area is not a restriction to membership. Although the majority of our members are from the Quad-City areas of Prescott, Prescott Valley, Dewey-Humboldt, and Chino Valley, we also have members from Camp Verde, Clarkdale, Cordes Lakes, Cottonwood, Flagstaff, Kingman, Mayer, Paulden, Phoenix, Scottsdale, Sedona, Skull Valley, and Wilhoit, Arizona, plus California, Colorado, and Texas.
