The MSWG publicizes National Spinning and Weaving Week each October with a month-long display in the Prescott Public Library Viewerie.

The spinners of MSWG provide spinning demonstrations on Thursdays at
​ Sharlot Hall Museum.

MSWG donates annually to the yarn program for the Adopt-a-Native-Elder Program.

MSWG provides scholarships for selected fiber arts students.
